Arda Guler Asks Fans for Water and Receives an Entire Bag

Arda Guler asked Turkey supporters for some water while preparing to take a corner and received considerably more than one bottle.
The incident occurred during Turkey’s 1-0 Nations League defeat to France in Kocaeli on Friday evening.
Guler stood beside the corner flag and gestured towards the crowd for a drink. One supporter responded by throwing an entire plastic bag containing several bottles onto the pitch.
The delivery landed beside the ball, leaving Guler to briefly abandon his corner-taking responsibilities and inspect the supplies now scattered around his feet.
It was an unusually comprehensive response to a straightforward request.
Most players asking supporters for water might reasonably expect somebody to pass down a single bottle. Turkey’s fans instead appeared determined to ensure Guler remained hydrated for the rest of the international window.
The Real Madrid midfielder eventually returned his attention to the match, although Turkey could not find an equaliser and began their Nations League campaign with a narrow defeat.
Guler asked for water. The supporters apparently heard a bulk order.
