Jude Bellingham Has Some Choice Words for Giuliano Simeone

Jude Bellingham had some choice words for Giuliano Simeone during Real Madrid’s heated 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid.

The pair clashed during the second half after Simeone caught Bellingham with a late kick as Madrid attempted to find a way back into Sunday’s derby.

Bellingham immediately returned to his feet and confronted the Atletico winger, prompting Koke to intervene and pull the England midfielder away.

That prevented the confrontation from becoming physical. It did considerably less to improve the vocabulary being picked up by the pitchside microphones.

Bellingham appeared to shout: “F*** you, you f*ing p**,” before eventually being moved away from Simeone.

The exchange arrived during an increasingly fractious match in which Madrid were already furious with the officiating.

Cristian Romero escaped a red card after catching Bellingham’s knee with his studs during the first half, while Madrid defender Dean Huijsen was dismissed shortly after the interval.

Atletico ultimately secured a 2-1 victory, leaving Bellingham sufficiently unimpressed to approach referee Miguel Angel Ortiz Arias after the final whistle and continue discussing the decisions.

Exactly what Bellingham said to Simeone cannot be confirmed solely through the footage, although his delivery did not resemble a request to exchange shirts.

The two players eventually went their separate ways, ensuring the Madrid derby concluded with all of its customary warmth and mutual appreciation.
