PSG supporters performed the Poznan at the Etihad Stadium after watching their team race into a three-goal lead against Manchester City.

The travelling fans turned their backs to the pitch and bounced together following Vitinha’s goal during Wednesday’s Champions League clash, bringing a familiar City celebration to the away end.

Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele had already scored before Vitinha made it 3-0 in the 32nd minute, giving the visiting supporters another opportunity to celebrate a commanding first-half display.

The Poznan has a particular connection with City, whose supporters adopted it after seeing Lech Poznan’s travelling fans perform the routine during a Europa League meeting in 2010.

With fans linking arms, facing away from the action and jumping together, it became a regular feature of City’s own goal celebrations. This time, it was the opposition enjoying the moment inside their stadium.

City responded after half-time, with Erling Haaland scoring twice, but PSG added another through Maghnes Akliouche between the Norwegian’s goals.

The visitors ultimately won 4-2, giving their supporters a victory to go with the celebration in the stands.
